Welcome to Bees Knees & Honeycott Cottages
Bees Knees and Honeycott have recently been converted from a barn into 2 luxury self-catering cottages, accommodating up to 4 people each. Situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park they both have breathtaking views towards the sea and over unspoilt hills and valleys.

The area is popular with walkers and lovers of nature, thereby making the accommodation popular with couples just wanting to get away from it all, especially out of season and families with
chidren will be in their element with so much to see and do.
The owner lives in the farmhouse nextdoor and is on hand help and answer questions.
Guests will be welcome to share and explore the 222 acres of land which is home to 400 Lleyn sheep with their lambs and a suckler herd of 50 simintal cows with calves at foot,and meet the two farm working dogs Badger and Max. |
BeesKnees and Honeycott Cottages are South facing, Semi Detatched having their own private sunny gardens and patio complete with garden furniture, are enclosed so that your dogs can be free in the garden.
Both properties sleep up to four and have been renovated to a high standard with a lot of care and attention gone into every detail to make your stay comfortable.

Its central location makes it an ideal base to explore the Exmoor National Park.
Exmoor is a special place of wild heather moorland, deep wooded valleys,streams, lanes full of wild flowers and an abundance of wild life,Red Deer, Exmoor Ponies and Buzzards. It is a wonderful place to explore by car or on foot anytime of year.
Where Exmoor meets the sea is stunningly beautiful, with the highest sea cliffs in England, and the amazingly rugged coastline from Minehead through Porlock, Lynton and Lynmouth to Combe Martin. All feature on the superb South West Way coastal path. |
Our local pub and restaurant is the award winning The Royal Oak of Luxborough and is within walking distance (2 miles)and offers good food and real ale. There are many other good pubs and restaurants close by in the area.
Within an hours drive there are many lovely places and attractions to visit which include historic Exeter with its cathedral, Wimbleball Reservoir for sailing, boating and fishing,and nearby is the medieval village of Dunster with its Castle (National Trust), working flour Mill and Yarn Market and the restored Cleeve Abbey (an English Heritage site )is at Washford.

Other places of interest to visit are Winsford, Wimberball Lake, Dulverton, Tarr Steps, Exford, Porlock, Lorna Doone Valley and Lynton and Lynmouth with its unique water powered cliff railway.
Activities such as Horse riding or pony treking,falconry,archery and fishing are available within 10 miles from the cottages.
The seaside resort of Minehead with its sandy beach, golf course, swimming pool and West Somerset Steam Railway (W.S.R) is 7 miles away. |
